Last summer I started developing the idea of seasonal photo essays as part of this blog. I hope you have enjoyed this new addition.
It is hard to believe that today is the beginning of Fall, although this week it has brought definitely more Fall like temperatures. Summer this year in the Northeast started with a lot of rainfall, for those areas that had a lot of snow from the winter it was “enough already”! By the end of July this had changed and it became hot and humid for multiple days on end, which is not typical. So the all plants that I transplanted swam at the beginning of summer and then became scorched by mid-summer. Finally at summers end the weather has seem to be more comfortable.
I hope that you enjoy the our photo remembrance of summer and when you need a reminder of warm weather you can always come back and look again during the winter months!
